As most of you know, I am a child who grew up in communism. I willingly, consciously and voluntarily became a U.S. Citizen in my 30s. This is my home.
DEI is the most deviant, dangerous and radical twist of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Equal Protection Clause under the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Here are the root causes for the DEI deviation: Since 1964 the Americans truly ended all forms of discrimination but the matrix of success in outcomes of the different groups of people did not change much.
Meaning: even though all children since K-12 went to the same schools in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s statistically and generally speaking, the best testing scores in K-12 which leads to the best colleges which leads to best job opportunities came from the following rankings: Asian students; white students; Hispanic students and then black students.
So the proponents of DEI are looking at those numbers and concluding that America is “systematically racist” and the only way to “fix it” is to DISCRIMINATE against: Asians, Whites and Hispanics in order to “lift up” black population so that they can qualify to access better colleges and better jobs. Hence the “soft variables” in accepting black students to Ivy League schools and discriminating against Asians and Whites. Finally last year the SCOTUS ended discrimination of Asians in colleges.
No one ever wanted to investigate why black students have historically performed worse than all other groups.
Does a teacher teach something different in K-12 classroom to the Asian and white groups vs black and Hispanic groups? They are all in the same classroom for 12 years! Everyone gets the same lesson.
So the Answer is NO.
Teachers teach every student the same lesson. And struggling students all get access to tutoring and help.
So if it’s not the teacher’s fault for having the black and Hispanic demographic consistently perform the worst in the entire USA on the standardized testings – what is the root cause?
Let’s investigate what happens AFTER school!
It is a CULTURE of kids that is the cause of why Asian kids perform better than everyone even though Asians are minorities also. Asian culture promotes learning, homework, extra work that parents place on their kids regardless of the teacher during the school day. Obedience and respect of parents.
Some white parents – like me do the same thing: every single day my 3 boys came home from school – I checked their book bags and I “forced” them to show me what they did in school and what they learned. When the public school banned books and switched to Chromebooks (so parents can’t see what they’re doing) I still enforced their learning by buying books myself and making them “show me”what they learned.
- Baltimore City has the highest concentration of Black students in Maryland.
- Baltimore City had all black leadership for over 50 years.
- Baltimore City had billions of dollars sent to all Black schools for decades.
- Baltimore City has the highest crime rate in Maryland and one of the top in the nation.
- Baltimore City schools have the worst proficiency scores of all schools in Maryland for decades.
It’s TIME to be honest and admit that America is not “systemically racist”.
It’s TIME to end Discrimination imposed by the DEI in violation of Title 6 Civil Rights Act in education.
I do not believe that it is a good idea to twist Title 6 – anti discrimination law to fix something that cannot be fixed by – discrimination.
Good for American Bar Association! Proud to be the member!
“Yesterday, the American Bar Association voted to suspend enforcement of Rule 206 – a DEI requirement for the student bodies and faculties of law schools. This is a victory for common sense! We are bringing meritocracy back to the legal system.” –Pam Bondi 2/22/2025
