Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset – April 17, 2024

Following a recent drawing held by the Maryland Cannabis Administration in early March, additional licenses for dispensaries, growers, and processors have been allocated, with four being awarded to businesses on the Lower Shore.

Wicomico County secured two standard dispensary licenses, with Elevated Mind & Wellness, LLC, and DMV Exclusives named as the winners. Meanwhile, Worcester County was granted one license to Guru Ventures Inc., and Somerset County also received one for Kindequity, LLC.

As part of the lottery process, licenses were also distributed in categories such as microdispensary, standard grower, microgrower, standard processor, and microprocessor. The winners were contacted by the state office to confirm their intent to proceed with the application process, which involves fees and compliance checks.
