Maryland Governor Moore Whines About Not Being Invited To White House

Over the weekend, Maryland Governor Wes Moore was whining again and pointing out his race card as the cause of all the problems in his life. He seems to be doing that a lot lately, every time things don’t go his way or someone calls him out for the state’s $1.9 billion dollar deficit, his gerrymandering proposal to disenfranchise Eastern Shore voters, the sky high fees for every Maryland service, and his ridiculous proposal for $40 rebate for power customers in the state trying to pay electric bills of over $1,000 a month. (That’s $40, not $400).

Seems like he should be helping the people of Maryland who have REAL problems such as paying high electric bills, high vehicle registration fees, and high juvenile crime rates. Nope. He’d rather we all feel sorry for him, the “only Black governor in the United States” because people like President Trump are picking on him. His only comment? IDGAF.

He really hates when people expect him to be accountable. After all, he is “The Other Wes Moore” right? Not really. (Turns out most of that wasn’t true either.)

Wes Moore’s upbringing story called into question as he requests investigation

And, oh, according to him, none of what has gone wrong in our state is his fault. None. of. it. It’s all because of Trump and former Governor Hogan. Hogan, by the way, left the state with a $5 billion dollar surplus while lowering or keeping fees level.

The ultimate hurt came this weekend.

Moore was not invited to a bipartisan 2006 National Governors Association event. Here is his statement:

“As the nation’s only Black governor, I can’t ignore that being singled out for exclusion from this bipartisan tradition carries an added weight-whether that was the intent or not.”

“It’s not lost on me that I’m the only Black governor in this country, and I find that to be particularly painful, considering the fact that the president is trying to exclude me from an organization that not only my peers have asked me to help to lead, but then also a place where I know I belong in,” Moore said.

Does it remind you of the high school girl who wasn’t nominated to be prom queen? Us too.

In fact, Moore was not the only Governor not invited. Colorado’s Jared Polis was also not invited. He is white.

But, why worry about details? Like Moore’s statements about his bronze star, his education, his grandfather, his hometown, the Maryland flag, etc. the facts never matter to him. He’d much rather make it all up as he goes and hope that no one notices.

Maryland Gov. Moore Caught in Yet Another Background Lie? | Headline USA

As we get closer to 2028, is Moore now creating his own narrative of “personal victimhood.” This from a man who has had every advantage in his life and is worth millions. Forgive us if we don’t cry for him. It’s getting old, especially while many of us don’t know how we will pay our bills.

It’s also important to note that Moore has not endeared himself to the Trump administration. Here is a recounting of his visit to the White House last Fall:

Moore changes tone after encounter with Trump – Maryland Matters

He was invited then. And, as far as I know, he was also black then.

Why would anyone invite a person to another event if that person is constantly suing you for doing your job, if that person is insulting you and calling you names like “conspiracy theorist” and characterizing your speech as a diatribe? And will we ever forget Moore publicly telling President Trump to “keep Baltimore’s name out of your mouth” after Trump talked about how bad the Baltimore City Public Schools are, which they are. It was one of Moore’s forays into pretending to be a black man with “street cred.”

Hey Wes, Trump is just following through on what you asked him to do. Except now he’s keeping both you and Jared Polis, who is white, out of his mouth and his event.

Why would Wes even want to go. He hates Trump so much, he couldn’t possibly want to sit and break bread with him, right?

This is just Moore’s pandering to the “victim virtue signaling” crowd. You know, black victims, female victims, gay victims, trans victims, illegal victims, etc. They are all in a huge pile up trying to outdo each other as they climb to the award stand of the “Victim Olympics.”

It’s all an illusion created by self-entitled, self-important millionaires trying to get national attention. Moore is just another one, an incompetent poser who never had an original thought in his life. We see it in Maryland every single day as his administration is totally incompetent. And now he wants to run for President and someone is giving him bad advice on how best to do that.

Moore whines that it is painful that he hasn’t been invited to this event. No, Governor, true pain belongs to the people of this state who you disregard and disrespect every single day. People who are truly suffering.

No wonder Trump doesn’t want you there.
