Carroll County Moms for Liberty Chapter Chair Kit Hart Welcomes Jonathan M. Alexandre, Esq. To The Virtual Legislative Rally on Tuesday

If anyone can overcome adversity caused by weather, it’s a group of Moms plus dedicated legislators and noted speakers. Tuesday’s plan for the group’s second Legislative Rally at the Maryland State Capitol seemed to be derailed by a large snowstorm which shut down much of the State.

That’s not what happened. Organizer Kit Hart, Chapter Chair for the Carroll County Maryland Moms for Liberty along with members of the state’s Legislative Committee pivoted and arranged to have the rally’s speakers appear on the Streamyard streaming platform. Within 24 hours, it was all arranged.

So, at 11 a.m., host Kit Hart started the program by having Pastor of Bethel Methodist Church Ken Cavey provide a prayer. Then the lineup of speakers which featured U.S. Congressional candidate Michelle Talkington, Chairman of PEACE and former candidate for Baltimore City Council Jovani Patterson, Co-author of STOLEN YOUTH and writer/podcaster at THE MOM WARS Bethany Mandel, State Senate Minority Whip Justin Ready, Maryland Delegate April Miller, from the Maryland Family Institute Jonathan M. Alexandre Esq., Maryland Delegate Nino Mangione, Delano Squires from the Heritage Foundation and the podcast FEARLESS with Jason Whitlock, Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs from Moms for Liberty, Charlie Misseijer, and finally Delegate Lauren Arikan.

The main topics were the fight for parental rights and freedoms, protecting our children from oversexualization and exploitation from Progressive policies, and fighting government intrusion in our local schools. Over 1200 people viewed the rally online.

As they say, if you want it done, ask a MOM!
