A 16-year-old was taken into custody for allegedly using a Taser on two students during a brawl at Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware.The incident occurred on March 26 at the school, prompting state police to respond to the scene.
According to troopers, a verbal dispute between the 16-year-old and two 15-year-old students turned physical when the older teen brandished a Taser.
Reports indicate that the 16-year-old discharged the Taser on both of the other students involved in the altercation.
School staff intervened to separate the students, and law enforcement confiscated the Taser for evidence.
A warrant was issued for the suspect, who surrendered himself on March 28 and now faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated menacing and unlawful possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.
The authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, with potential charges pending for the two 15-year-olds as well.
