A man from Maryland, who had been reported missing, was discovered deceased in a river on Monday, as stated by Salisbury Police.
Officers reported that Deaquan White, aged 29, was declared missing on Saturday, September 6. His remains were located in the Wicomico River on Monday, September 8.
Authorities responded to the location near Mill Street and Main Street at around 9:30 a.m. to retrieve his body.
Investigations are ongoing to determine how White’s body ended up in the river.
His body has been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
