Authorities in search of the suspect who fled Potomac High School.
The tragic event unfolded outside Potomac High School in Oxon Hill at approximately 11:20 a.m., as indicated by Prince George’s County Police in a statement shared on X, previously known as Twitter.
Responding officers discovered an unidentified adult male with gunshot wounds and promptly transported him to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead, according to the PGCPD.
“A second victim, a child, was also found with gunshot wounds. The child was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening,” the PGCPD noted in their statement.
