As the Supreme Court of the United States deliberates on the issue of presidential authority, President Trump is taking to the airwaves to fight against any loss of executive power concerning tariffs. He is also putting pressure on Congress to remove the filibuster entirely, giving the GOP the runway to implement President Trump’s agenda (Notice we didn’t say the GOP’s agenda, because Trump’s America First agenda is obviously not that of sitting Republican senators).

The recent SCOTUS oral arguments on the tariff issue did not go well for The White House. However, it is unclear how the issue will be decided.

Regarding Obamacare, Trump is pushing to highlight the corruption of the program. The continuing government shutdown is largely due to the Democrat desire to continue funding the expensive government insurance plan. The White House is resisting the pressure.

The GOP has an incredible chance to push Trump’s America First! agenda by ending the filibuster in the Senate. It is doubtful GOP RINO politicians will allow America to be saved.
