On June 17, 2025, the Worcester county Commissioners voted 7-0 to allow public comments at their commissioner meetings moving forward.
We reached out to Worcester Commissioner Caryn Abbott (District 1) for comment on the vote. Abbot stated:
“We are committed to fostering a transparent and responsive governance and welcome public input on any agenda item for each meeting. Residents of Worcester County should feel they have a voice in county government.”
The next meeting will be held on July 1, 2025 where a time for public comment will be on the agenda.
