A Rehoboth Beach restaurant that President Joe Biden recently visited has been named one of Yelp’s Top 100 Seafood Spots of 2024.
Henlopen City Oyster House on Wilmington Avenue ranks No. 33 on Yelp’s list of top-rated seafood restaurants.
According to Yelp, seafood is a popular topic for contributors across the country.
Yelp has identified businesses in the seafood category that already have a large number of reviews mentioning “seafood” on its platform. Then, starting January 1, 2001, he ranked those spots using several factors, including total volume and review ratings through December 13. , 2023.
President Joe Biden and first lady Jill, who were visiting Rehoboth Manor on the North Shore over President’s Day weekend in February, had lunch at Henlopen City Oyster House on Saturday afternoon.

During the beach town’s winter and shoulder seasons, restaurants that are normally open for dinner only will also be open for lunch.
Joe Baker and Chris Bisaha own Henlopen City Oyster House. They opened it in 2010.
This restaurant is a favorite of locals and tourists who come for the lobster rolls, lobster macaroni and cheese, crispy fish sandwiches, herb-roasted Delaware rockfish, fried oyster dinners, and, of course, the tempting selection of raw oysters.

Henlopen City Oyster House is open Monday through Saturday for lunch at noon and dinner at 4 p.m. Closed on Sundays. Reservations are not accepted.
The Bidens sometimes eat out when visiting their homes in Rehoboth and Greenville. In Rehoboth, they have visited Egg several times and dined at The Quoin in Wilmington. President Biden also recently dined at Mrs. Robino’s and Rocco’s Italian Grill & Sports Bar in Wilmington’s Little Italy.
