A man from Somerset County has been taken into custody and accused of raping and sexually abusing a minor.
Nathaniel Edsel Suttle, 21, residing in Princess Anne, was apprehended on May 31 after an investigation conducted by the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office. Suttle is facing charges of second-degree rape, third and fourth-degree sexual offenses, sexual abuse of a minor as a continuing pattern of behavior, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
Based on the findings of the Sheriff’s Office’s inquiry, Suttle’s alleged misconduct towards a minor commenced in January of 2024 and persisted until April of the same year. Suttle is being detained without bail, and the investigation is ongoing, with suspicions that the victim was subjected to these acts on multiple occasions.
