Maryland House Bill 1185 “Right to Play” sits in the Ways and Means Committee and has not been heard or made any advancements. This bill would allow homeschoolers to participate on public school teams. Since this bill is in the Ways and Means Committee, the committee’s Chair (Vanessa Atterbeary) usually blocks anything that’s not part of the liberal agenda. Anything that democrats oppose is blocked by not allowing a bill to advance or even be heard. This is one of many examples that proves their discriminatory ideology of diversity, equity, and inclusion is both conditional and hypocritical.
