THIS IS PART OF OUR EDUCATION EMERGENCY SERIES

This bi-weekly feature will include stories from social media that show some of the extreme issues affecting kids in schools and the rights of their parents to guide the medical, educational and emotional progress and well-being of their children.

Some of these stories may include videos that are not appropriate for minors and may be offensive to some. We use links from various sources including “X” and online news publishers. These stories are shared to inform, warn and yes, alarm.

Please Follow us on Gab, Minds, Telegram, Rumble, Gettr, Truth Social, Twitter

This post from the Secretary of Education Cardona appeared on “X” the other day. When you read it you might be confused because Cardona SEEMS to be promoting parental rights:

I’ve said it once and I will say it again, parents don’t want politicians dictating what their children can learn, think and believe. That’s not how public education is supposed to work in a free country.

— Secretary Miguel Cardona (@SecCardona) August 10, 2024

If this is true, then we guess he wouldn’t support people who want to dictate what other people’s children can learn, think, and believe, like this person:

Meet Kristin Christensen, she’s running for State Board of Education in Nebraska. She posted this photo of cakes with book decor to protest “banned books.”

Some of the books contain graphic depictions of s*x including “Gender Queer.”

She wants to be in charge of Education in… pic.twitter.com/TFvhHLYpV7

— Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) August 11, 2024

Or this person who got into teaching to train social activists, or something…

“I saw education for what it really was. The greatest instrument of social justice in this country.” – teacher at Kamala/Tim Walz rally pic.twitter.com/dunRfaJSWE

— Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) August 11, 2024

Unfortunately, she had children who became teachers also. Silly me, I got into teaching to teach academics!

Cardona also posted:

While some politicians sow chaos in the classroom, the Biden-Harris team is equipping schools and kids with the resources they need to thrive.

That’s the power of investing in public education.

— Secretary Miguel Cardona (@SecCardona) August 9, 2024

I wonder if he meant these resources for classrooms created by people who want to control what our children learn, think, and believe: (referenced in a social media post regarding a local school system)

Watch Video Here:  Gender Identity: Range of Gender Identities (amaze.org)

Watch the video. (Somehow the video compares having two genders to salads with “rock hard iceberg lettuce” and a “stinky old tomato.” Which gender would be the “stinky old tomato”?)

Here are some of the “partners” for this group and their resources:

Advocates for Youth

UNFPA ESARO (United Nations)

https://www.ippfsar.org (Planned Parenthood)

queer-lexikon.net This site is really special!

And then there is this for four-year-olds and older:

amaze jr. – amaze

Again, watch the videos that are posted to be used with small children.

There are school districts in Maryland that are using these materials. These materials are created with help from this group:

Home – SIECUS

And, while we are on the topic of kids being taught things their parents don’t want them taught, here’s one that will get you checking out the people at your kid’s summer camp:

Meet Kipp Ellis. A trans nonbinary queer activist. She organizes a “trans joy summer camp” for “lgbtq kids” in Kansas which includes lessons on pole dancing.

She teaches kids how to inject hormones and says everything about America is violent and sports are rooted in violence. pic.twitter.com/jkzv4PTHWz

— Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) August 8, 2024

It’s amazing how people like Cardona will lie to make them appear to believe in what is right for children. Keep your guard up!!!
