On the morning of Tuesday, April 16, a Wicomico County Board of Education Bus carrying 25 students was part of a crash at Joe Morgan Road and Sharptown Road. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
According to the initial findings, the school bus did not give the right of way and was hit by another vehicle. A passenger in the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to TidalHealth for treatment. The car had to be removed from the area by a tow truck.
Fortunately, none of the children on the bus were harmed during the collision. Following the investigation, all the students were safely taken to their school.
